A high level control for wearers of breathing apparatus in hazardous conditions is of utmost importance in order to ensure their safety. This can be achieved by the use of the DIKTRON DSX automatic distress signal unit in conjunction with the DIKTRON B.A. CONTROL BOARD
B.A. BOARD
Standard BA Board with a calculator in place of tables to work out time of whistle.
Procedure: BA Entry Control Officer removes Key from the DSX MKI or MKII and fills time in on the Tally key. Having inserted tally into the slot provided, he/she then turns calculator to time in, and reads whistle time against cylinder content on the calculator. Continue to complete the location and remarks in the normal way.
Caution HARD WORK WILL REDUCE DURATION TIME.
