Diktron DSX MKI

Important notice to all BA Departments and agents.

Diktron give notice that from 1st of January 2002 we are no longer able to repair the DSX MKI Distress Signal Unit.

As you are aware this product was introduced to the market some 15 years ago and due to the lack of stocked spares has become uneconomical to repair. We do however provide the MKII version, which is identical in operational use but is much smaller in size.

To assist Brigades in this matter Diktron will provide the MKII when units become uneconomical to repair on a one for one basis at a Discounted price.

Many Brigades are already slowly turning to the MKII version by this means and find no difficulties in operational use. Diktron assures all users that we will continue to repair until the above date as long as spares are available.
